To chop, or not to chop?

Today the weatherman is forecasting a sweaty and humid over 100 degrees.  Ugh, I'm ready for this week to be over.  On a different note, I'm looking forward to get my haircut Sunday courtesy of my SIL, Kim. ( and what better time for a hair makeover than summer?) I haven't  had a haircut since January.  Gross, I know right?  After years and years of wearing my hair in long layers I don't know if I should chop it  or keep it long again.  I can't decide, I'm so torn, any thoughts are welcome!

I love this hairstyle without bangs?

shoulder length with side swept bangs?

How many of you have long layers?  Do you ever get bored and want it to chop it or get a set of blunt bangs? What holds you back?

If someone is contemplating chopping their hair, I always say, do it! bc hair grows back and you wont wonder anymore if it's a good look or not.

as far as blunt bangs, I personally don't prefer them bc I like to keep my bangs soft and feminine across my face. Though, i do think babydoll bangs are cute on other people w/thicker hair.

good luck!

Love the first one Olivia has. Great hairstyle and great bangs. If you decide you want more like the second, you can always go back and have your bangs trimmed but if you automatically go for the second there's no turning back! XO

I have a haircut scheduled for Sat! I need to do something different but sure what! I do think about cutting bangs again but then I remember when I had them I hated them and wanted them gone!!!

I have long hair with layers, the shortest going ot my chin. I als ofantasise about having shorter (and easier) hair.....Id freshen up the layers and maybe change your colour a little for a feeling of change?
Once you chop it, you may not grow it back. Enjoy it while you can be bothered maintaining it : )
